Join the Oak Lawn Band Executive Board!
The OLB is actively seeking candidates who have up to 30 hours per month they can donate to achieve the Band’s transformational goals over the next year. Ideal candidates will have expertise that aligns with the role they are interested in, extensive networking connections in DFW, sufficient time available, and a passion for the LGBTQ+ community and the arts. The ability to donate financially is welcome but not required.
Volunteering for the OLB board is a 2-year term commitment, with a 2-month onboarding and handoff period - total 25 months from May 14, 2026, to June 30, 2028 - with the option to run for election again if desired.
Board roles typically need at least 2-5 hours of time donated each week, occasionally up to 30 hours a month (e.g. for concerts or heavy fundraising months).
